St. Michael’s Weekly Post – 11th December 2020

11th December 2020

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…..The Christmas tree is up, glistening in the school hall, and pupils have been practicing their Nativity and Christmas carols ready for next week’s performances. This year we will be filming our Nativity performance and it will be made available on the school website for you all to enjoy.  Next week we will share the link for the Nativity video, along with the password, etc.

On Friday, in the hope the weather and technology is on our side, our Carol Service will be streamed live, via Zoom (password protected), and also made available on our website.  We would like to give the opportunity to all children to be part of this festive filming, given we are unable to hold our usual performance.

Following our email yesterday, if you DO NOT wish for your child to be included in this filming and photographing, which applies for these events only, please complete this form by 12noon on Sunday 13th December 2020. We apologise for the short notice.

Driving to/from School

We would like to remind parents/carers to drive considerately through neighbouring villages as well as our own, particularly near road works. Children’s safety, those in the car and pedestrians, must be a priority.
