What a busy week we have had!
On Wednesday, we enjoyed a walk though the Brown’s farm to the amazing sculpture exhibition. On the way, the children had the chance to enjoy the beauty of the landscape on their doorstep – something we all agreed we don’t do enough.
Once there, the children marveled at the many pieces and enjoyed casting their own judgements. We came away feeling truly inspired about creating our own sculptures back in school.
On Friday, we had the chance to take part in the virtual Marlborough Literature Festival. Along with the Year 6 children, we had some time with best selling author Maz Evans who shared her passion for writing, answered questions from the children and entertained us with funny stories about being a professional writer. A great way to end a super-busy week!
