Acorn class have been enjoying nature this week with our weekly trips to the forest as well as in our outdoor area. Each child has planted an acorn – we will have a long wait to see if it grows into an oak tree! We have also planted a small vegetable patch with strawberries, spinach and onions, as well as some tete-a-tete daffodils for some spring colour. In their busy time, the children have been challenging themselves to make complicated mixtures combining lots of different textures. As well as the wonder that is mud!
