What a start to our great adventure! We have had a wet and wild day on the open waves and we had the most fun utilising the favourable wind(!) on the Rockley catamarans! Children loved zipping along the choppy sea at high speeds! Once that was over, children hopped on a power boat for a tour around the coast before heading back to dry off with some beach fun. After dinner we were back down to the beach until darkness descended, playing games, having fun and enjoying the company of amazing friends! At bedtime, we all enjoyed a hot chocolate before celebrating Chloe’s birthday with a sing-song… Chloe enjoyed/was suitably embarrassed when blowing out her candle on her massive cake!
(Finally, I am sorry if this blog reaches you a little late – our first priority has been the children, both whilst out at sea and back at base. We’ve been settling them down, reading stories etc. and now they’re all quietly resting in their rooms!)
