It has been a lovely day to end our amazing adventure down at Rockley. The day began with lots of packing and a very tasty breakfast (waffles!).
With our bags packed, we headed down to the beach for the last time. Today, we took part in the Rockley Challenge, where we competed to gather recyclable materials with which to build some boats. The children told jokes and stories, did some hilarious impressions of the teachers and instructors to be able to gather their materials. The boats were absolutely fantastic, even if the names were not so good (“Boat”…). We paused halfway through to play one more time on the beach too!
After another delicious round of sandwiches for lunch, it was time to head off. Thank you so much Rockley, for providing us with so many amazing activities and opportunities!
