Year 5 and 6 had a wonderful trip to the Marlborough Literature Festival today. We listened to an inspired talk from Catherine Johnson about her life and the inspiration behind two of her books: Race To The Frozen North and Journey To Freedom. The children asked some great questions afterwards and even got to chat with Catherine whilst she signed copies of her books for us! What a fantastic event to further inspire the love of reading and writing!
