Some children from years 4, 5 and 6 were invited to take part in a hockey tournament at Marlborough College today, alongside several other schools.
We began the day wrapped up against the freezing cold fog, but by the time the matches were underway, the sunshine had broken through, and we finished the afternoon in glorious weather!
The children played brilliantly throughout the tournament, demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination and great sportsmanship. We were especially proud that two of our teams won their matches and they were delighted to receive their medals.
A huge well done to Team St Michael’s, they represented the school fantastically and a big thank you to Sophie Fynn and Emily Best for coaching the children!
