We’ve had a lovely week, with all sorts of things going on. The children enjoyed meeting the little chicks earlier in the week and did so well being calm and gentle with them. They also had a great walk safe training session this morning, where they got some top tips on how to stay safe when they’re out and about. We’ve started a wonderful new book, ‘Meerkat Mail’ and the children have been busy collaborating on desert habitats and making their own meerkats to act out the story so far. We started our new art project and will be working in 3D this term. The children produced some beautiful pictures, inspired by some sculptors that we looked at. We also planted some sunflower seeds and will be looking after them and thinking about what they need to grow and flourish in Science.
