Wow! What a wonderful afternoon we have had celebrating our Poetry Slam for World Book Day!
Throughout the week, the school has been immersed in all things poetry. From individual poems performed in classrooms, to whole-class performances, every class has embraced the joy and creativity of poetry!
Standing up in front of your peers to perform a poem you have chosen or written takes real courage and determination and we are incredibly proud of every single child who took part. Our judges were truly impressed by the talent, enthusiasm, and confidence shown by all the performers and they had the difficult task of selecting winners from such an outstanding range of performances!
Congratulations to all of our winners and well done to everyone who helped make this such a memorable celebration of poetry!
