We had a lovely time in the woods on Monday, despite the rather damp start! We started the session by reading the book Find your Happy and the children exchanged their thoughts of what makes them happy in the woods, whether it was a place or an activity. The children shared the tasks such as lighting the fire, making hot chocolate and tidying away, all helping us all to have a happier time in the woods. Bows and arrows were made, God’s eyes were created and the mud kitchen was busy along with the swings and the hammocks.
