Year 5 enjoyed a really interesting morning visiting the Shri Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Swindon. We learnt lots about what it is like to be a Sikh and some of the key parts of their life and beliefs. We met some amazing people, who taught us far more than we could have learned in a classroom, and got to sample some absolutely scrumptious food in the langar (community kitchen). A huge thank you goes out to the lovely people at the gurdwara for making us feel so welcome, teaching us so much about their faith and for their incredible hospitality.
