Forest School and Spaghetti structures!

In DT,

Cherry are exploring creating a structure that will transport water. To successful fulfil their design brief, they explored various shapes to see which shapes are more likely to support a structure.

Here are Cherry class enjoying investigative shape structures using only blu tack and spaghetti.

Yesterday, Cherry class had another wonderful day in the woods. This week, the children enjoyed making bird feeders in preparation for the great bird count on Saturday. The children had great fun playing in the woods, making dens and drinking hot chocolate. We also found the shell of a slow worm! How fascinating!
